How to Integrate WAIR into your Chatbot

This article explains how to incorporate WAIR into automated size and fit chatbot flows.

Before You Begin

This integration does not require any development work. Instead it creatively utilizes WAIR's auto-open feature to direct shoppers to a product detail page where the WAIR body survey will automatically open.

Step 1: Select which product(s) you'd like to direct your shoppers to

  • We recommend selecting from your top selling products that commonly have all size variants well stocked.
  • For brands that sell men's, women's, and/or children's products, selecting at least one product for each gender and age group will be important to address all sizing concerns.
  • If your brand has high fluctuations in size alignment between product categories, you can also include products from different categories.

Step 2: Create your product detail page URL with WAIR's auto-open syntax

  • To create a PDP URL that has WAIR's auto-open feature enabled, all you need to do is add the syntax ?showpredict or (if a ? is already in use in the URL) &showpredict  to the end of your URL.
    • Examples:
      • www.yoursite.com/products/best-sellers/white-tee?showpredict
      • www.yoursite.com/products/best-sellers/white-tee?variant=123&showpredict

Step 3: Link the showpredict PDP URL in your automated  chatbot flow

  • Hyperlink your showpredict URL to a call to action within the automated chatbot flow responsible for addressing size-related questions.
  • We recommend including a snippet in the automated response to your shoppers about what WAIR is and what to expect once they click the link.
  • Always test to ensure the link functions properly, takes you to the correct PDP, and automatically opens the WAIR body survey.
